HP's built-in Intelligent Scanning Technology
lets you edit scanned documents effortlessly. The 4200c optimizes your
color and black-and-white photos using AutoExposure and AutoSharpen to
automatically perform the tasks necessary to bring out detail and deliver
quality. Its fully automated OCR (optical character recognition) software
automatically optimizes text for electronic editing and transmission,
too.
Scan directly into an application simply by
pushing the Scan button. The HP Scanjet 4200c automatically selects the
correct file format for your application. (Also supports TWAIN and OLE —
software interface standards that allow you to scan images directly into
software programs that support these interfaces, such as AdobeÆ
Photoshop™.)
